The Comrie Foundation is the fund-raising arm of the registered charity, the Comrie Development Trust. The Foundation are establishing a grant fund to support our local groups and community activities. As the fundraising grows we will allocate a proportion of our income to distribute to good causes in our community.
The Comrie Foundation allocated £2,500 from last years Culty Quake to the new grant fund to be distributed to local groups. 13 local groups benefited from the this fund
Following hard on the heals of Culty Quake a village coffee morning raised a further £1200 for the Foundation. In January this year a hugely successful Burns Supper added a further £500 to the Foundations fundraising appeal for Cultybraggan.
Due to the generosity of the Tudor Trust all fundraising by the Foundation will be matched £1 for £1 up to £100,000 so Comrie can double its money each time a donation is made!
